A short film by Jeremy Casper, Stuart Bury and Isaiah Powers
It a thesis project for Jeremy Casper and Isaiah Powers BFA in animation.

“Dried Up” is the story of a quiet old man who, surrounded by desolation and apathy, perseveres to remain true to the nature of his own beliefs and character. He toils daily to forge a last ditch effort to bring hope and life to a faithless, drought ridden old town.

整隻影片的概念來自於阿根廷藝術家Oddi的插畫以及設計
充滿了趣味和拼貼混合的style以及粗曠的用色
在搭配上這首音樂跟切合節奏的剪輯
整個就是有fu啊。

directed by Jimena Oddi and Jorge Jaramillo.

因為今年才去過羅浮宮
所以對場景有種熟悉的感覺 ^^
影片的內容也是同樣令人會心一笑

又是個很不錯的one man work，整個fu都有抓到
不用對白，光是使用一鏡到底的拍攝手法，就讓人差不多能理解影片的內容含意
若是能夠再長一點，有個完整的故事就更有趣了~
